1. Website use
This website is provided for general information and for customers who wish to request a quote or contact Alinzo Logistics. Content is supplied in good faith, but website information may change from time to time without notice as services, locations, availability, or commercial terms are updated.
You must not misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its operation, upload malicious code, or use the website in a way that is unlawful, misleading, or disruptive to our business.
2. Quotes, estimates, and bookings
Any quotation, estimate, or indicative price supplied through the website, by email, by telephone, or through the dedicated quote form is based on the information provided at the time. A quote may change if the details provided are incomplete, inaccurate, or later revised.
- A quote request does not by itself create a binding booking.
- Bookings are only confirmed once Alinzo Logistics accepts the job and any required deposit or advance payment has been received.
- Additional labour, waiting time, extra mileage, access difficulties, stairs, parking issues, or extra items may result in additional charges.
- Where a site survey or further clarification is needed, the final service price may be revised before booking confirmation.
3. Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate and complete information about the job, including collection and delivery addresses, access restrictions, floor level, lift access, parking arrangements, item list, fragile or high-value items, and any time-sensitive requirements.
- All goods must be suitably packed, labelled, and prepared unless packing services have been specifically agreed.
- You are responsible for ensuring that collection and delivery locations can be accessed safely and lawfully.
- You must ensure that any necessary permissions, parking suspensions, building access approvals, or loading permissions are arranged in advance where required.
- You must disclose heavy, bulky, delicate, valuable, unusual, or specialist items before the moving date.
4. Restricted and prohibited items
For safety, insurance, and compliance reasons, Alinzo Logistics may refuse to carry certain goods. These can include, without limitation, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, corrosive substances, explosives, perishable goods, illegal items, firearms, and items that are unsafe to transport without prior agreement.
Customers must not ask us to move any item that would place staff, vehicles, buildings, road users, or third parties at unnecessary risk. Where restricted goods are identified, we may refuse service, stop loading, or cancel the affected part of the job.
5. Timings, access, and delays
We aim to arrive and complete work within agreed windows wherever reasonably possible. However, estimated arrival times and completion times are not guaranteed, particularly where traffic, weather, road closures, building access problems, vehicle restrictions, customer delays, or other factors outside our reasonable control apply.
- Delays caused by incomplete information, difficult access, or unavailable recipients may increase the job duration and cost.
- If collection or delivery cannot proceed safely or legally, service may be delayed, rescheduled, or partially completed.
- We are not liable for delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe traffic, adverse weather, breakdown, accident, civil disruption, or third-party restrictions.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a job, you should contact Alinzo Logistics as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate reasonable changes, but short-notice cancellations or date changes may result in charges where time, staff, or vehicle space has already been allocated.
- Where a deposit has been taken, refundability will depend on the notice given, work already undertaken, and costs already committed.
- Repeated postponements or substantial changes to the job scope may require a new quotation.
- If a job cannot proceed because the information provided was materially inaccurate, we may charge for wasted time, attendance, or reserved resources.
7. Damage, loss, claims, and liability
Alinzo Logistics will take reasonable care when providing services. If you believe goods have been lost or damaged during transport or handling, you should notify us as soon as reasonably possible and provide supporting details, including photographs where appropriate.
- Claims may be reduced or refused where items were inadequately packed, inherently fragile, previously damaged, unsuitable for transport, or where relevant information was not disclosed in advance.
- We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of profit, loss of business, missed appointments, or similar secondary losses.
- Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude liability where exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
For certain jobs, separate written service terms, insurance terms, or confirmation documents may apply in addition to these website terms.
8. Payments and outstanding sums
Payment terms will be confirmed as part of the quotation or booking process. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all charges must be paid in accordance with the stated invoice or booking terms.
- Where additional services, time, labour, mileage, or waiting charges arise, these may be added to the final balance.
- Late or unpaid sums may result in follow-up action or temporary suspension of further work.
- Commercial customers may be subject to separate account terms agreed in writing.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If you have any questions about these terms or a service enquiry, please contact Alinzo Logistics by telephone on +44 330 043 3843 or by email at [email protected].
