1. Reporting a concern
If you believe goods have been lost or damaged during a job carried out by Alinzo Logistics, you should notify us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or after the issue becomes known. Prompt notification helps preserve relevant information and allows a fair review of the circumstances.
2. Information required
- Your name, contact details, and booking reference if available.
- The service date, collection and delivery addresses, and a clear description of the issue.
- Photographs of any visible damage where possible.
- Details of the affected item or items, including approximate age, condition, and value if known.
- Any supporting documents, receipts, or correspondence that may assist review.
3. Assessment of claims
Each claim will be reviewed on its own facts. When assessing a claim, Alinzo Logistics may consider the condition and packing of the item, whether the item was suitable for transport, whether any pre-existing damage or fragility existed, whether access or handling risks were disclosed in advance, and whether the information supplied is complete.
4. Limitations that may apply
- Claims may be reduced or refused where items were not packed appropriately, were inherently fragile, or had pre-existing defects.
- Claims may also be affected where important details were not disclosed before the service, including unusual item weight, specialist handling requirements, or restricted access conditions.
- Indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, missed appointments, or business interruption, are not normally covered under standard service arrangements.
5. Resolution and further documentation
Where appropriate, we may request additional information before responding to a claim. Depending on the job and the circumstances, separate written service terms, insurance terms, subcontract arrangements, or booking confirmations may also apply.
